how long has it been? months? since i've updated. seems like it.

oh yes. first of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR. it's never too late to wish. anyways, i've been busy with school and stuff. am left with 3 freaking months to graduation. it's gonna just pass by like that, i can bet. and obviously, i've been getting the same typical question everyone will and have asked.

"so, after ITE going where?"

knowing me, DUH i'll answer POLYTECHNIC. the real question should be, What course and Which Poly will i be choosing. AHH.. i recently went to the Poly Open House on Friday. wow. it was a real eye-opener. NP, SP & NYP. it really did made me consider my decision all over again.

next week is IVP. 4 games, each 40 minutes. it's not super bad, but with the amount of ppl we have currently, i must say, i'm not that confident anymore. but nevertheless, we will chiong and do our ULTIMATE BEST. for the team and for ourselves. i will play, until i really can't. if you wanna die, die on the field.

what worse, this is the last tournament for most of us. the graduating people. me, nana, farhana, saliha, lira, gillian, siti. that's like a whole entire team, gone off. this sucks. how is Touch gonna survive? if i came bk, just randomly, in a few years time, i will not be so surprise if Touch no longer exist in CE. i still don't know why it does not appeal to people. it's irritating huh. anyways, people should just change their mindset about things and be more OPEN-MINDED.

i was thinking, if i get to poly, i'll join a new CCA. i've always wanted to try martial arts since i'm a kid. so it's either Taekwondo or Karate or Judo OR Akido. and i'm going to learn the Japanese Language. it's gonna be awesome. yeahhhhh :)

yes i am lazy. lazy to update this blog. i'm not that busy or anything, no.
anyway, the holidays are here. at last. but it's for 3 freaking weeks. It's not even fitted to be called holiday. what can i do for 3 weeks? if it's for 1 month, ah that's what i call a holiday. stupid damn school.

PR project is finally done. what a relieve. was quite stressing but we pulled it off. now it's Front Page i'm worried about. I DON'T HAVE THE SOFTWARE, HOW TO DO? shit shit shit.

i'm just irritated. no matter how many days i put, it's either i get 1 or 2 days of it or nothing. i'm like a senior staff man. i mean, don't i get the priority? fcuked up sia. really. OMG i can't wait till Ashley comes back.

went Holiday recently. to Port Dickson. initially we wanted to spend time at the beach and relax and all. but it rained like siow, man i should have seen it coming. so stayed for only 1 night; ditched PD and went over to KL. this was soo unplanned. checked into a hotel and went Genting the next day. even though it was soo unorganized, i totally had fun speading time with my family. awesome :))

so, Green day. it looks like i won't be able to go. yes, i am very frustrated. due to lack of $$.
turns out, the $$ i put aside for this concert, was needed to be used for holiday. so now, i'm broke. ahh, fuck man. umm, it's okay. the band i really wanna go is Paramore anyway. so..... ya. (feeling sad, now)

OK so i think almost everyone know, that i really want to go to the GREEN DAY concert.
which is happening next year, January 14, 2010.
this is one of the many bands that i am waiting for, to come by Singapore.
(Paramore is on the top of the list, by the way).

but i think the venue is crap. total crap. really.
Singapore Indoor Stadium.
i mean, HEY, this is a punk rock band, how could you (SISTIC!) even have sitting prices? fuck man.
in my opinion, i think they should only have free standing prices. it's more fun. and more appropriate. they should do it like Fall Out Boy. it's only 1 price.
and Indoor Stadium?? wtf? Max Pavillion is a more better venue! stupid sia. this is Green Day we are talking about. the legend! Indoor Stadium. Sitting Prices. what a load of BULL.

so i'm now like looking for people to go with, to the concert. and only 1 have come up, my cousin. i actually don't mind going alone, but things like this, the more the merrier. my usual concert clique; it has been long since i saw them, the last time was RJA concert earlier this year.

there has been loads of things going on since school re-opened. so, let's get started.

SCHOOL
this term, is the final and most important/crucial/ riskiest term EVER. and the irritating part? we only have 2 modules. ohmygod. the more the pressure. cos, once you slack for even just a bit, you are gonna get left behind. if my GPA this term drops, i am gonna be dead.

TOUCH

touch have been going from bad to worse. and the attendance, disappointing as ever. i really don't understand these people. most said they have other commitments. umm, HELLO we are humans too, you know. we also have commitments and responsibilities. so what makes you any different from us? we chose to come training every tues & thurs, because we chose this CCA. so it is our responsibility to come. you guys not coming for training basically means:
YOU HAVE LET THE TEAM DOWN. that's it.

so now, Angel is no more our coach due to some complications. had a new one, Eunice from NYP. she was actually our opponent during the POLITE games recently. she's great. easy to communicate with and teaches with the speed of our pace. maybe Angel was right, maybe this is a blessing in disguise. with her being our new coach, we can learn more and hopefully play even better. but it's too soon to tell. time and commitment will reveal everything.

CONTACT
on the other hand, played contact recently. and it was AWESOME. so, the recent Wednesday, we had this RP invitational 10s game. and we played great. A combined team consisting of ITE, NYP, NP. i was actually clueless when my team mates talked to me about the line out, cos it has been sooo long since i played contact. and it feels really great, starting again.

1st game against RP. none scored. which was good, in a way.
the 2nd game, against SIM. they scored twice. expected - national players what.
3rd game, SMU.

okay, these people we played against them during our 1 and only training before this tournament. and we won. oh, and in the tournament too, we won. it took us quite a while to score, even though the try line is just a few meters away from us. SMU's defence was tight. but at last, Wati scored.
it was all worth it. everything.

WORK
work was OK. stagnant as usual.
the other day, me and bitch went airport to jobhunt. cos like, we thought if we told our manager that we want to quit, maybe they 'll promote us to supervisor? yes? haha. well, it wouldn't hurt to try!

thats abt it. everything i need to blog about.

HI.

SO in 2 weeks, i bought 2 pairs of shoes. like omg.
i'm freaking broke now huh. fcuk.

anyways, RESULTS.
i don't expect straight As cos i know the recent term was like total insanity.
checked and it's 3.71, 2As and 1B. not bad, i thought.
even though i know, it dropped like a 0.04 from my last term score.
i have done my hardest, my bestest, my all.
what was expected; a B from EVM. and it really happen. yikes.
OMGG how i hate that subject. like genuinely hate it.

to make things worse than they already are, uncle recruited like 8 more people into the crew.
HOW LOVELY. like who does he think he is?
if that's the case, the most days we can get is like 2 days per week.
that is gonna SUCK. big time.

school's starting next week and i'm so not looking forward to it.
ugh, can't believe next week i have to wake up at 7am, drag myself to the toilet, bathe, wear ugly uniforms and yellow landyard that will make me look like a dog.
I CAN'T WAIT TO GRADUATE. but on the other hand, i don't want it to come so soon.
i will miss my ITEagles. every single one of them :(

F1 was superr tiring.

oh wow. Hari Raya is coming extremely fast, huh?
it was just the other day, was the first few days of fasting.
but now, after exams are over, here i am rushing to complete my quest to bake kuehs.

since i'm in this topic, come to think of it, i'm actually not THAT excited to celebrate Hari Raya this year, and i have yet to find out why. maybe it's the fact that nyai mona and yayi is no more here.
but i think there's more to the reason. ohh well.

i went for a haircut recently. and it turned out... hmm..
anyway, i don't get it.
WHY each time i come up to people; ohhh i am pretty sure it was obvious enough that my hair was cut; they will ask, "eh you cut your hair ah?" well, DUH isn't it? it's not like my hair just fall like that right? and of course it was cut-ed. then what? PLUCKED? and no, i didn't cut my hair. a hairdresser cut it for me. what a question! really, until now, i still don't get it. sheesh, people.

i've been watching loads of Japanese dramas nowadays, and loving every one of it.
in my opinion, it's much better than Taiwanese or even Korean.
every one of the dramas i watched, has a moral at the end of it.
it is either, "Cherish your Youth" or "Family is everything" etc etc etc.
they never fail to amaze me with all kinds of plots and conclusion.
and also, by watching, i have learnt quite a handful of their language. great huh.
YEAHHH.

results. DAMN I'M NERVOUS.
like pee in my pants, nervous. okay fine, not to that extend.
i honto ni, honto ni hope that it's a 4.
okay, maybe that's too ambitious. at least above 3.5, please?
if i can pull this through, i've got higher chances of going Poly.
but provided, i do equally well in the next semester.
was planning to go NYP, Business Management or maybe Marketing :D
that aside, i now have to do my VERY best for the coming semester
& work HARD towards my goal.

THIS IS THE DAWNING OF THE REST OF OUR LIVES.

hey hey hey, PEOPLEEE.
wow. i never thought this day would come. HOLIDAY.
really, i was in SUPER stress mode for the last 2 months.
the projects, the irritating conflicts, the presentations, the memorizing by talking to yourself constantly, the thick with loads of staples notes. quite hectic, i know.

well, yesterday was my birthday. due to the exams, i didn't really celebrate it. quite sad, i know.
and also i have an early mini celebration with my sister as hers falls on the 7th.
parents bought for me the pull over hoodie from Dorothy Perkins which i indirectly hinted.
huda is gonna treat me Japanese food once she got her pay.
and i'm gonna buy for myself an Ipod nano soon.
it's all good yo.

now, i have to rush to make hari raya kuehs because it's in 2 weeks time. die die die.
anyways, this year i was planning to bake: the classic, Chocolate chip cookies; my famous, Brownies; my siblings' favourite, truffles; and Miera's Meringues. and i plan to also experiment one of the recipes in a book i borrowed from the library, Marble Cheesecake. i really hope i'll turn out awesome, everyone of them.

so recently, i had cough. well, mum had it first, i got it from her.
moving on, it got SO bad, i lost my voice. and it's irritatingly pain.
at 1 point of time, i didn't even dare to speak.
i used sign language to interact with people. wow.
even though now it's still going on, it's getting better. in a way.

F1 is coming! like super fast. hahahaha. get it? nevermind if you don't.
and i have not bought my pants! dang it. and have not even completed the e-training.
i pretty sure it's gonna be super tiring and fun. with that once in a lifetime experience and awesome salary, i am sure i made the right choice to volunteer for this event. even though i don't think i'll be able to watch Backstreet Boys live in concert due to the fact that my Zone is very much away from their concert area, i think i'll have a blast anyway.
missing out Hari Raya visits ($ collection) for this, is so worth it.

READERS, what a week.
it's getting rough man. but i'm hanging on. tight.

had a chalet recently with the mates last weekend.
and frankly speaking, i didn't really had fun. i had the opposite of fun.
guys were acting like girls and expected everything to be done for them.
and i found out that going 1 day without sleep, will lead you to doing CHILDISH things.
it was really disappointing. a bunch of 18 year old, acting like 8 year old.
i mean I KNOW it's all in the name of fun, but don't you think it went abit too far?
do you like it if you guys were in that person's position? know your limits, please.

the POL-ITE games kicked off on Monday. ITE vs RP.
what a match. we were nervous and fully agreed that the 1st half was SHIT.
but then 2nd half, woah. much much better.
some got scolded, some injured, some pissed off, some disappointed, some irritated and so on.
NOW that the 1st and 2nd game is over, put that ALLL aside and just focus on next week's match.

but the part i always look forward to the most is the ICE BATH.
it's the most painful, satisfying, endurance-challenging, funnest thing EVER. love love love.

i'm handling the situation quite well now and i'm proud of myself for that. even though the flashbacks are still there, the bad parts will always conquer off the good ones.
i'm glad that this whole thing is all over and i am now a much happier person.

okay, school just started and i'm already tired. Have been rushing through projects and now, TPD CA which i have not even started writing notes yet. I'm in 1 bloody hot pot.

And to top it all off, POL-ITE is next week. It was decided that it will not postpone regardless of the flu bitch that has been going on for the past few months. but a blessing in disguise? i suppose so.
it was also announced that RP will not be playing, as they are quarantined. toooo bad then.

CCAs are suspended for this whole fish-ass week, because of the flu bitch again and i'm nervous for the team. but nonetheless, we will do our best. ALL OUT YO, ALL OUTTT.

Gotten the whole gear today and it's AWESOME. especially the shorts. OMG the shorts. love it.
it's tight and so together. that's the only way i can describe it as :D
i feel soo TEAM-Y with all this. YAY!

i really don't need this right now.

i'm loving touch, nowadays.
maybe because of the bond that is between us, team mates.
and also the things that i've learned.

i was an amateur when i started TOUCH.
knew absolutely nothing and was totally a blond over it.
i can hardly catch a ball and when was being taught a move, an encore of it was never a miss.
even when said, i understood it all, partially i was lying.
i was so blur, i myself was pissed off.

but now, things have changed.
i could see myself improve. not the klutz, i used to be.
improve to be a better player and a better team mate to the others.
now, a hard and long pass from the contact guys, isn't a problem to me.
and teaching the others what i know, comes out naturally now.

now that POL-ITE is coming up, i feel nervous for my fellow mates who are new to this game.
but this batch, is worth applauding.
for their hard work, their willing-ness to learn and effort to attend trainings.
i really love you girls.

i admit that i suck big time at it. whatever was said just now, i felt it.
a mixture of overwhelming feelings. hurt, shock, anger, sad, happy? hmm..
but overall, shock was the most. my mood crashed immediately.
it was intense. so intense, tears nearly formed and a slight pain was felt in my chest.
just get over it, dyania. you have to be strong.
it's easy to say, then actually doing it. but assuming, also contradicts the situation.
whatever it is, i know i am strong;
with the support from God and the people i love and care most,
i will try my very best and hardest overcoming it.

CONTACT is really missed during the 2 months absence.
and i really can't take it, no more. seeing the guys train, really makes it even worse.
playing rugby, really helped me get through life, a whole lot with overcoming fears and temporarily taking away my problems.
it makes me become a more stronger and tougher person, inside and out.

i have grown to love this sport and even shared the love with others.
but it is not all bringing down opponents.
it's a thinking game; kind of like Chess.
now i really hope, when i get back in July, the drive will still be there.

ah. it's term break at long last.
i've been waiting for this ever since, i was told about the 3 projects that was assigned to us on the 2nd day of school. how i long to rest my huge ass and do just absolutely nothing.

that is, until now.

OMG OMG OMG.
just remembered that exams and project deadlines are scheduled, AFTER the hols.
and term break is only 3 freaking weeks. HOW GREAT IS THAT.

there is not much time.
no time to slack. no time to wake up late till afternoon. no time to watch tv.
no time to do nothing. no time to shop. (oh nooooo. no time to SHOP?!? how could this be?)

time management. time management. time management.

POL-ITE is coming near and i'm nervous.
why? i don't know why.
why you don't know why? sha' up.

and it's true. i don't want it either.
it actually sucks to know, that other schools can predict that they can, without much effort, trash us.

frankly speaking, our problem, from my point of view, lies on: discipline and commitment.
during training, we don't take things seriously.
maybe to some, it's not even training. it's just to kill time.
and every week, you'll see different people turning up.
there is no need for names, you guys know who you are.

i am actually jealous to see other teams like TP or SP or even Coach's team, to have that commitment and discipline and also teamwork to make things happen.

never mind about being in the finals, we haven't even stepped in the quarterfinals.
i reckon maybe, after some of us graduated, there's a strong possibility that TOUCH won't live to exist. it will suck BIG TIME, if that really happens.

work is sooo stagnant.
i mean, i'm doing the same thing over and over again. with a $5.30/hr pay. wow.
i actually can't wait to quit.

even though i've heard of people saying that this is quite a laggy phone, i still went for it.

training tdy was awe-some-y.

there was teamwork. that's part of training.

ANYWAYS, we did the normal passing.
after that, Dog & Bone. random huh.
there was confusion at first but, it was figured out at last.
super fun.

next, fisherman & fish.
very kecoh and packed with laughter and non-stop shouting & screaming.
really awesome.

then had lateral passing, over and over again.
later on, ran 2 rounds.
super tired by the end of it.

i was so tired, that i didn't talk much.
but then again, i was quite quiet tdy.

a fcuked up day.

okayyy as some of you heard, i lost my phone.
well, actually it's not lost. someone stole it.

how?!

it goes like this:
me and KH was at TM planning to study at either Starbucks or Coffeebean.
at e same time, there was a PUMA sale happening at level 1.
so, like DUH, we went to check it out first.

it was like super cheap, for a brand like PUMA, that we were so engrossed by it.
and so, after i found the shirt that i wanted, i realised that my front pocket was open.
it was then, i noticed that my phone (and ezlink card) was gone.

no doubt, i was panicking for a moment.
but then, i come to realise that my phone is not worth stealing. AT ALL.
(have you seen it?)
it was .... , and had lots of scratches. plus, it is really an old model.
the person who stole it, i reckon is mentally retarded.
either that, or he's blind. or maybe he's both.

if he trades it, he'll get less than 10 bucks.
if he use it, then he's dumb. because there's something wrong with the keypad.

then again, i too played a part, in making this incident possible.
a stupid move was made by putting my phone and ezlink card in the front pocket.
where anyone can open and steal, without me noticing it.
hence, i've learnt my lesson.

it's irritating now, cos i have to search for ppl and ask for their numbers.
which is, LEHHCEHHH. to the max. FUCK la.

thursday was the 2nd round of e EVM fund-raising.
and damn we did GOODD.
helped out Darren with selling his shop's muffins.
2 bucks/box. went ard e freakin' school to sell.

and i must say, the lecturers here, can be quite stingy huh.
but there was still a number who willingly bought it without hesitation. with that, i respect you.
the trick to sell well, is to: PERSUADE. and never BEG.

see, if you beg, it makes you sound like you are really desperate for ppl to buy.
and they might think lowly of you. soo, NEVER BEG.

but if you persuade, it gives the buyer time to think.
whether or not, it is worth to buy.
that is when, you have to persuade well.
but if they still don't want, then thank them and wish them a nice day.

that is howww to have success.

predicted and expected

the results are out and it turns out, i didn't do well.
no more 4 pointer.
now a 3.75-er.

there was a second of shock and disappointment as i saw the results.
but then again, i expected that.
why? it's cause i studied late.
yes i know. i was given ample time to study and yet, i deprove.
also, i focus more on POM than BCM. baik ah.
anyways, it's all over now.
no use regretting.

yesterday, mum decided to eat out.
after much hesitation, Sakura at DTE was decided.
and PIG out we did.
it was awesome. cos it was a long time since we ate there.
but the only irritating and disturbing part was the ambiance and air-con.
it was effing noisy, with ppl shouting and talking and stupid idiot kids making a racket.
fcuk them ah.
and the AIR CON. it was sooo stuffy. wtf.

after the PIG out, fetched huda and went to catch a midnight movie.
all the timing was beyond 1am.
and Mall Cop was our only choice.
it was funny but not to the extend of getting good reviews.
by the time it ended, it was nearly 2am.

and tdy for work, i felt soo tired and felt as though i had a hang-over.
it sucks man.

next week, a chalet will set up by the CS HD.
and it's gonna rock.
maybe staying over, but e next day, AB outing.
how? damn shit.

okay i think my mum is super weird.
there i was, starting to feel so tired and sick of SG.
so, huda and me stayed up till 3am to plan our AUSSIE holiday for next year.
and PLAN we did.
hotel, food, flight. ALL.

and the only thing we're left, is our parent's consent.
next day, i randomly asked mum.

"mum, next year, me and kakak are planning to go Australia for a get-away trip.

well, my life now is kinda stagnant.
just like stagnant water. the kind that mosquitoes can lay eggs on and we get dengue fever.

after the RJA concert, it seems that i have nothing more exciting events to look forward to.
come to think of it, it's actually rather sad.
i've been working more now. more than i would have normally worked.
ah work. politics and more politics.
but of course, the best part is pay day.
wait. $5.30/hr, what so best abt that? damn it recession.

recently, nyai oyah passed away.
which shocked me. but on the other hand, she's been sick for quite sometime.
and what really saddens me is that, seeing my aunts cried. it was emotional.

really intense. whenever i see them cry, i myself felt like crying.
as nyai oyah, is my late grandma's sister, there's a resemblance.
and when i see her soul-less body lying on the bed, really reminds me of my late grandma.
oh how i miss her.

results will be out on the 1 April. most probably.
and i have a feeling that it wouldn't be a 4.
maybe because of either my BCM or POM. or or or ETP.
whatever it is, i'll be praying hard with utmost confidence, that it will and SHALL be a 4.

went to some food factories first.

been busy with school so, working only when i have the time.
there's a new creation coming up. and freaking hell, it's easy to do.
i thought it's gonna be like, complicated ya know. like Flower Blossom or something.

n what do ya know? 1 from either side of my family, is working at the same outlet as me.

boss said, someday i might take over the shop.
with my whole family n relatives working together.

this part, to the MAX stressful.
1st: we do not have enough NEW ppl.
2nd: the ppl who joined before, is not committed and therefore, not enough ppl.
right now, i'm finding a way to attract ppl to join this wonderful CCA.

cause people immediately stereotype when they hear RUGBY.
they are thinking of broken arms & legs. getting tackled. being extremely rough. being big & tough.

went for appointment abt ma back yesterday.
and the Doc said it's not the bones that is hurting.

and if you are doing any physical/vigorous things, the disks might move or even slightly come out.
so that maybe the reason, i'm experiencing pain from my lower back.

and then he referred me to Physiotherapy.

he then said by Physio, they can help me exercise on how to strengthen and correct my back.

the recent Cca Fair was okay. i guess.
it's not much of a pulling-desperately-and-forcing-people-to join.
it's more of like: you want to join, join. don't want, then go.
somehow, it's more easier that way.
don't have to do much.

and again for the second year, we have to patronize the tennis booth.
as how pathetic the Cca is like, the number of ppl signing up for it was even more pathetic.

in the meantime, nana and i were finding things to do.
and randomly, we end up playing/learning how to play, CHESS.
which was actually fun. as in seriously.
we were so into the game.
to be honest, i was once hooked on chess. ages ago.

the response was not bad. quite a number signed up.
but typically, once ppl read: RUGBY, they automatically think: a sport similar to American Football.
and just because the ball is of the same shape. wtf man. stupid assholes.

TRAINING today was superbly awesomeeeeee.

a VERY overdue post.

Vietnam. here we go:

day 1-
1pm: Budget Terminal
meet the people there. nana, satiga, wati n shafiqa. the rest i donno their names.
checked in.
and i tell you, it's freaking longggg.
stupid service. all the face like 'i don't want to be here' that kind.

3.20+pm: Plane. Tiger Airways. crampy. very crampy.
and damn didn't get the window seat. slept throughout the 2hr+ journey.

5+pm: Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
went straight for dinner. hungry to the MAXXXX.
food was fine. i eat anything actually.
checked in hotel. put luggage, and went down for..SHOPPING!

day 2-
6.30am?!?: i know. what the fuck man 6.30am breakfast?! nabeh.
and breakfast was omg. BREAD. only. might as well i go back sleep.
headed off to Mekong Delta. the name sounds cool right?
1hr+ journey. what else? took the opportunity to catch some sleep.
took a cruise in the Tien River to some Island i forgot. very nice view.
passby fishing port, stilt houses, workshops n Dragon, Pheonix n Unicorn Island.

visited the Coconut candy mill. see how the candy is made.
but how they wrap the candy is not appealing.
had honey tea. damn sweet. until 2 bees went in my drink.
ate tropical fruits to the sound of the Southern Vietnamese Folk Music. a
nd amazing rowing boat trip on a small canal by an equally amazing n strong old woman.
went backk for a lunch.

City Tour to Notre Dame Church, old Post Office, Independent Palace. SUPER LOVELY.

Shopping after that at the indoor market. where they clearly state "All Fixed Price". that means NO BARGAINING. didn't buy much. went back hotel.

DINNER. at new restaurant, 4 seasons. equally fine.
and aft that went back to SHOPPING. again.

day 3-
7.00am: ate bread. again.
headed to Hong Bang University.
had presentation and games there.
made friends with Kim Anh. very pretty girl. my age!
sing-alongs and exchanging of emails.
they even presented each of us their University polo-shirts. very niceee :)

Lunch at 4 Seasons. again.
then went to Cu Chi Tunnel. this part really rocks man.
An underground Village built by the Vietnamese for the 2 wars bet Americans and French. more than 200km long and 3-4m deep. they made super creative traps.
and even made BABIES and got MARRIED in the tunnel! HAHAA.

they even have this shooting range. and what do ya know? I SHOT AN AK47! for real! coolness.

experienced walking.. no, crawling through the tunnel. very COOL.
it's SO dark that you can't even see your hand in front of you. up, down, slide. fun!!

Dinner. had some misunderstanding so we didn't eat.
SHOPPING aft that.

day 4-
7.00am: Breakfast. didn't even go down for breakfast. slept back.
headed to orphanage.
VERY adorable kids. but not really good facilities.
the only good one is the Library. which a SINGAPORE company donated. GOOD JOB!

LUNCH. Wholesale market. bought coffee. that's all.

next Lacquer Factory. FASCINATING.
egg shells are being carefully cracked and positioned into a beautiful masterpiece.
details details details. and mind you, it takes months and some, years to finish 1 piece.

DINNER. SHOPPING. again. YAY!

day 5-
slept throughout till 10am+.
really deserving.
last minute packing, went down. and last minute shopping. HAHA.

final LUNCH.
loads of chicken. love it. and we had teh-o!! life couldn't be better.
AIRPORT-ED. but check-in was fast this time. best.
bought Maltesers inside. a very big tube of it.

8.00pm+: Singapore. at long last. rather sad to leave Vietnam.
Shopping Paradise. i now miss Vietnam.

as i'm dead bored now, why don't i list a few random things about myself.
here we go:

i was a Prefect from Sec 2-4. and a tough one at that. (don't mess with me)
i learnt my 1st 'bad' word [BODOH] from my friend when i was Pri 1.
i forgot all about my kindergarten days. and it's not memory loss.
i can't wear a hairband cause my head is not normal sized. if worn, there'll be spaces at the sides.
i am very good at massaging. that's what most people said.
i use to play Tennis. now, Rugby.
i appeared on TV/Newspaper twice. (best N Level result, best Mentor)
i use to watch High 5 until i was Sec 3.
i still think that not alot of people have my name spelling.
the first time people read my name out, NOT ONE can pronounce it right so far.

i have been busy with school lately. the usuals.

Sunday had training. and it was DA BEST. did some drills:
3 men rucks, maul, switch, loop and at last, game.
it was the tough as we were playing under the hot scorching sun.
but i did not regret coming. the game with the seniors was AWESOME! and painful.
let's just say, i left S.A. with a bruise at the corner of my eye, can't straighten my right knee properly and my whole body was aching all over. awesome? definitely.

as the weather we were playing under was after a heavy downpour, i got sick the next day.
sore throat, flu, dry cough and yesterday: slight fever. mampus.

but still, i went to work on Monday. shit la. lots of people leaving.
liang wei, hafiz. on the 21, sharon and suzie. damn.
bitch and me kept asking each other whether should we quit and find another job together.
but i said to her: if you quit, i will also quit.
up till now, i'm still thinking. hmmm..

but if i quit, what job should i apply?

happy and sad at the same time.
happy cause it's been a long time since i went overseas.
sad cause 2 of my friends are not going.
and just got to know that, NANA IS GOING TOOOO!!! YAYYYY.

training was fun. slackingly FUN.
did some passing and played FIJI touch. (i think it's FIJI. or some other country la.)
as usual Hisham did most of the scoring. (stupid fast legs.)
chilled after that and bathed.

as the roti prata stall was closed, nana hisham me initially wanted to go have dinner at T3.
but due to nana's 4 assignments must finish by tonight, CS we go. ate talked home.

Dina the Bitch's bday. only remembered about it at 7pm.

AT LAST! i went club training. 1 month ++ of not training, i have gone rusty.
was shocked for a moment, as there were lots of newbies.
practiced tackling and passing. shoulders were sore after that. right up to now.
and and and Mr Marcus had free tickets for the SCC 7s game at Padang!
so me louisa shasha met up with yusoff there and made it in time for the semi-finals.
what a freakingly nice game. South Africa defended their title against Fiji 10-5.
it was soo awesome.

Nov 3:
Worked. 6-11pm. and guess what? i forgotten to bring my hat apron nametag.
nice one dyania. it was SO lehceh siahh.

Nov 4:
TOUCH. as coach was sick, we self-train.
normal passing. and firah's fun but tiring as hell game.

From now till forever.

school was same as always.
projects n projects. i feel like dying from just doing it.
and something unexpected happened. aiyohhh. (i've got your back, my friend)

and and and and.. i miss Rugby. to the MAXX.
for about 1 month+, i didn't even touch a rugby ball what more play.
this week i'm unable to go training again, due to the fact that i have to help rewang for a wedding. like wtfh sia. didn't even risk telling my mum about it. she might kill me then and there.

mother, she still dislikes me playing the sport. "it's not suitable for girls" was always her reason.
then if its not suitable for girls, then why are there females playing it? damn fed up sia.
i think she's scared that i might turn into like a man for something. WTH.
luckily father is okay with it. he's the only one who supports me, taking up the sport.
he even sometimes come to support me during tournaments or friendlies. he's like DA best.

touch is kinda stagnant for now. nowadays, not alot turn up. due to their 'reasons'. or should i say stupid excuses. (want to join Cca, then cannot commit. might as well quit.) we here, trying to keep this damn Cca alive and there they are, killing it. whatever la. fuck it.

to Endure, is the key to Success.

so far, school has been going on well for me.
sure there's gonna be lots of projects, assignments and reports to be done, but if you understand the concept of it, you will not go wrong. for now, there's 3 projects. BCM, ETP & POM.

for BCM, we have to do this individual oral presentation with our groups as the audience.
initially, i was gonna do about 'Ways to earn the extra tourist dollar'. but then again, i can't really think much about that topic. so, 'Global Warming' came to mind. there's lots of areas i can cover like; Causes of Global Warming, Effects of it, Ways to prevent, How can it effect the business, the people and the environment.

ETP & POM is quite similar. it's about building up a new business. the product must be unique, so as to make it stand out and different from others. the Target Groups; what age are we targeting at, Male or Female. and this is in groups. my group is planning to sell Slippers. with add-on benefits. i can't explain further, as we have not finalized anything yet.

as for the lecturers, they are kinda okay i guess. luckily i'm not in Quek's class for ETP. Liew is okay actually. the great thing about him is that, he talks to the point. and he lets us off early. so that makes him, Great. (10 points for you, Mr Liew.) and for Sean Quek, he's blur and boring. that's all i can say. and i don't have to mention Mr Hari. he's the best.

Training has been good lately. but attendance, dissapointing as always.
our fitness level needs to be build up, and also skills needs to be brushed up.
Thursday's training was the best. as the track was slippery due to the rain, we kept falling and falling and falling. very fun. and of course, suicides. Tuesday, 10. Thursday, 14. no doubt we hate it and will feel very tired, but by the end of the day, we are the ones who benefit from it. not coach. not anyone else.

Contact training have not been on for me. but only for this week.
cause it's still raya season, so visiting comes first. ($)
by next week, let's get it on man. can't wait to tackle people.
and i will say it again. I MISS WEARING MY BOOTS!!

a day with the people.

today, SCHOOL STARTS!
i'm somehow, not looking forward to it. but whatever la. Hari's lesson first. to me, he's one of the best lecturer. ever.

BCM, POM, ETP.

and after he explained what's in store for us for this semester, i realise that i can't afford to slack anymore. i know even though i got a 4, that doesn't mean that i did my very best. i believe, in the middle of the previous semester, i did slack. even my friend realise it. until i was lazy to go for classes. aiyohh.

and once Quek gave to us the time-table, i was effing happy. to the MAX happy. ok why? how about, the latest i'm released is at 3pm. how great is that? but alas, my happy mode was slowly turned down when i was told that this timetable last only for 2 weeks. WTFH.

planned to go swimming during ETP. Shi hui, Dwight, Kelly n Kah hui.
from 5-6pm. dragged my sister along, as she's at home alone.
FUN! i learned how to swim. freestyle n frog-style. i know i'm abit slow. hhaa.
had the time of my life.

need to sleep. tmr start: 9pm.

Time is of the Essence

why? why dare i ask, that time is moving so fast?

school is starting next week. and i'm just getting in the hang of being in the holiday mood. but on the other hand, school starting next week, is kind of a good thing. i can get back to my study-like-there's-no-tomorrow mode again. i can get back to my geek self again.

talking about school, i have yet to tell you people how my results went.
thanks to God Almighty, i have yet again regain my title as a 4 POINTER. and i'm glad that all my effort of studying-like-crazy isn't put to waste. i really hope this coming semester, i can do well if not better. and hopefully, fulfilling my dreams of going to the polytechnic by the end of the 1st year.

worked on friday last week. 10-5pm.
meet with the AB people at Cineleisure to catch 'Mirrors'.
super super freaky. i never looked at mirrors the same again.
met up with OI people to bid farewell to Elsen the small boy, as he's going NS soon.
went to his Auntie's pub called 'The Next Page' at Mohamed Sultan Road.
and of course i didn't drink. crazy or what. headed back with Kah hui & Kelly.
the best outing ever :D

Hari Raya is going on okay for me.
didn't really visit much as adilla's having her PSLE this year.
last Saturday, went to visit my great grandmother. and boy, i was shocked.
she changed alot. i mean a whole lot. she's become skinnier.
and as i kissed her cheek, i nearly cried.

the next day, i was feeling so so so bored, decided to go shopping.
bought Speedo slippers which cost me only $19.90! what a steal. also a Billabong wallet and Nana's present.

went to nyai's house first. we were the first family to arrive. quite shocked there. typical, loads of people were there. relatives and friends.

went off at ard 2 plus. went to nyai yun's, yayi wa, nyai seha and nyai oyah. at last to wak asaid. freaking kecohh man. with my uncle, wak ali's stupid jokes. then to his house. my heels was killing me by then, and luckily we were heading home. collected: $235.

hello Readers. Greetings.
obviously, Hari Raya is only 2 days away.
and i haven't even bake anything. not a single thing. Brownies and Choc Chip Cookies is what i'm making this year. and i really hope that it'll turn out great tmr. hopefully.

went to break fast with the cousins on Friday. and it was freaking great. really.
decided for Popeye's Airport T3. as usual being typical malays, none was punctual. (no surprise there. hahaa.) but luckily i was kiasu enough, to come just in time before the dinner crowd arrived. typical of us, created stupid as well as crapy jokes which made us the noisiest table around. and i truly felt that it was just so nice to have all of us gather and having a great time. we should do this often, yeah? :D

so then after dinner, we seriously didn't know where to go. ('the night is still young' as Afiq would say.) City Hall came to mind, and off we went. and OMG. damn you stupid rich F1 people. damn you. City Hall was so so packed. too packed actually. (packed-er than Mustafa on Weekend nights, i tell you.) okay, being a never F1 fan, i'm so against watching F1, let alone going TO City Hall and experience it myself. but i was wrong. oh i was so wrong.

F1 IS SOO COOL! really awesome.
from where we were standing, F1 cars raced passed us. and that very loud, ear-ringing sound each time the Formula 1 cars zooms by; really excites me. and suddenly, i was happy. really happy. and i wanted to see more of it. in a clearer view. so i pushed my way to the front. and there i was, smiling and grinning to myself to what i thought the last time was 'stupid cars that go round and round and round and round.' oh i was so wrong, yo. (and i saw a FERRARI! yeah man.)

sore.

to start it off, i'm sick. sick as in sore throat and running nose. and it irritates me. especially when dad is smoking or when i pass by a smoker. damn you.

well, hari raya is just around the corner. and.. we haven't really tidy up the house. too late? not really. we still have this weekend. so gonna be super busy. tmr gonna be working. from 6-11pm. and thursday, gonna be at grandma's house to help her with some chores. and friday, buka with the cousins at Popeyes. it's gonna be great cause it has been a while since we last met. miss their crapiness.

ok. i was reading iffah's post, and i think she has a point about malays/muslims and tattoos. i too have been to chaotic Geylang during this fasting month. and i too have noticed; that suprisingly, more and more people are having tattoos. maybe it's a trend? or like iffah said, to make them look fierce and at the same time, cool? and noticing that some people (as in, the old ones), sitting behind the bazzar, eating and smoking away. what a load of bullshit, people.

BOWL Champion. yet again :)

i know now is not really a good time to blog, what with the exams just around the corner. but what the heck, i need a break.

okay let's start off with the Blacks Midnight.

it was awesome i tell you. it was held for 2 days, Friday & Saturday.
on the first day, we played against RP Pink, Blacks Babies & Laos.
and all the matches we lost. but do not fret my ppl. we are here to have fun! :D

stayed back for a while to watch the women's open.
saw Ms Kristy. she remembered me, but can't recall my name. hahaha.
blacks did great, so was wantoks.
reached home at 11+pm.

the next day,
came at ard 11+am. our first match was at ard 1pm.
today was with Thailand, RP Pong, and the finals.

and oohhhhhhh my gosshhhh.
i regretted falling.

okay my stupid story goes like this:
we were playing against RP Pong.
shasha was with the ball, and i was just beside her, ready to receive the ball.
but then, she was being tackled, and thought that i was still beside her.
she passed to me, but end up throwing it outside.
the thing is, i was running at the same time, feel like falling.
my momentum wasn't there. damn man.
shasha could have passed the ball to me, and i could have scored.
cause at that point of time, no one was in front of me! shit shit shit. [screams to self.]

but put that aside, shasha later scored after a few minutes.
great or whattt?
and that score, which made us the Bowl Champion!
cause after the match against RP Pong, it rained and rained and rained like hell. it was so bad that all our matches had to be cancelled.

just as i was looking forward to play in the flooded, muddy field. it looks soo good. but what the hell, BOWL champions! and this time, we have the medal to proof it. [hhahahahha!]

okay, serious mode now.
exams next week. and i'm scared.
a friend told me; if you studied for it, you shouldn't be scared.
well, i studied alright. if i fail, i really don't know what to say man.
we just have to see how it goes. lucks for me! :)

ahhhh. i'm so shagged.
went for club training yesterday, and we had fitness.
YES. fitness with the senior team.
did suicides. it really was a suicide. heh.
after each; did push-ups, dips, squats etc etc etc.
3 sets! wahhlau. SUPER to the MAX tired.
only manage to do 1 1/2 sets. haha.

then, back to Andrew for further training.
did 2 men rucks, ankle, decks and lots more.
[and Derelyn's dog is soooooo CUTE!]

today, Napfa.
and the tiredness is still there, mind you.
2.4km first. new route.
i think it's much faster compared to the usual 6 rounds of the track.
ran all the way, with nad.
not sure about my timing though but i think i pass.
5 items was a breeze. (CEYY. hahhaa.)

later going for the guys game to support them. ITE vs NP. can't wait! GO ITE GO!!

i'll just be the star player.

i was nervous/excited for trials today. throughout the whole day, i couldn't help but to ponder on POL-ITE which is happening THE WHOLE OF NEXT WEEK. thinking of whether how will we make it, or injuries we might face during the game.

[suddenly sidetrack]

and i realised there is no place to chill in school.

as in, while you're waiting for your next class to start, which is like 3 hours later! me rekka shihui went almost everywhere to find a good place to chill, we just couldn't. at last, we just went to cafe 1. which is like sooo pathetic. and freaking cold.

chillax for 3 FREAKING HOURS. should have not come for BFD man. anyways, while playing and trying to break records at space commando on rekka's PDA phone, i was thinking of... nothing actually. was too engrossed with the game. very addictive. haha. rubbish man.

went for AFD, for only 1 hour! hahahaa :) told Mdm Siti that training starts at 4pm. ohh i'm good.. went down, changed and ran. ran ran ran. tiring yo. but hey, it's all in the name of fitness. waited for everyone to arrive slowly, then played game against the guys. game after game after game. Angel came, the trials began.

she split us up to our positions. and i'm in centre with Firah, Nana, Chye Ning, Farhana. woah, centre. alot of work there. run to gaps, crash ups, squeeze defence, run straight, quickie, loop/wrap and many many more. i personally think our attack is SUPER DUPER EXCELLENT. we managed to gain ground. but only sometimes when at the try-line, we don't know what to do. need to improve on that. but otherwise, EXCELLENT. futhermore, we only started training in less than 2 months. so, we're like considered good man! YAY TO US! YAY!

and i couldn't emphasise more on the people with injuries. ICE ICE ICE. everytime. watching tv, ICE. doing homework, ICE. playing computer, ICE. if not, in time for POL-ITE, i see you people cheering for us at one small corner, not playing.

at last, Angel sat us down in the middle of the field, pointed out to each of us. telling us our good and bad points. for me, good points: crash up, wonderful. can see through gaps. can create moves and can actually score. bad points: FITNESS. once i'm tired, i'm gone. everything all crash.

so she suggested, i sub after 1 attack 1 defence. recover quickly, then go back in again. must be consistent with subbing. and what she said about me, i was really proud of myself:-

"your fitness not good ah. but we got no time to correct it, so after 1 attack 1 defence you sub. i need you in the field most of the time, so recover quickly and go back in."

i felt so important. proud moment there. hahaha. this really boosts up my confidence.

and i think from a weak player last year, who doesn't know anything about touch rugby AT ALL, i've grown to be better now. much much better. last year on Wing, now Centre. MAJOR change. Good Job Dyania! (pats shoulder).

now, i can't predict whether we can win or not. but what i know is, we're gonna do our VERY VERY BEST, give our 101% in EVERYTHING and most importantly, HAVE FUN. to acheive that, it's all up to us.

was late late super late today. class start at 10am.

stupid sister hogged up the toilet.

i like the way we are now.

the start of school was okay, i guess. nothing much happened.

ohh ya. and i realise that i have got lots of friends in ITE.

Kah Hui pointed out that. woahhh. hahaha :)

got a B for BFD CA. actually, i expected an A but a B is good enough.

but no matter what, i need to strive harder for both AFD & BFD, in order to get to Poly.

and i wouldn't want to disappoint my parents. Mum have always mention that i should stop Rugby, as she's scared that my studies will slack. but if that situation should occur, i myself will take the initiative to stop Rugby, for a period of time, and just concentrate on positioning myself to where i'm suppose to stand.

and it's here again. Napfa, 29 July.
ohhhhh gosh. time to train.

on Tuesday before training, ran 3 rounds round the whole field with Nana.

was soo worth it. and it's more tiring than on track, so it's like a challange for us. hahahaa.

Thursday, training was the same as always.

passings, crash-up, quickie, loop and learn a new move after that.

i feel that it's good that we keep doing this like a routine.

and at last play game so that we can apply whatever we learnt.

next Tuesday; as the field's gonna be occupied due to a match, we'll be training at Simei st 4. the HUGE field just beside the Old Changkat Changi Sec, opposite the church. and Angel will be holding trials for Pol-Ite. hope she will pick more people for subs.

as mention above, POL-ITE is coming.
ohhhhhh gosh. on the 21 July.

which is like next 2 weeks! soo fast. ahhhh.

and NICHOLAS, i'm sorry that i always turn down our Tennis Sessions. i'm busy, as in everyday.

a new champion

well, seems that we have a new winner. it's good for a change. but it's a great disappointment for the 5 time-in-a-row Wimbledon Champion, World no.1 Roger Federer. the excitement starts during the tie-break. i was on my toes when they volley. in the begining of the match, i confidently predicted that Federer will win this hands down. but alas, the unexpected Nadal won.

Nadal was the Victor for the following reasons:

Nadal had great momentum and confidence after his dominating victory over Federer at the French Open. Momentum and confidence go together in sports.
Nadal is physically stronger than is Federer. He hits the tennis ball harder and he generates more racket speed than does Federer. This is a significant advantage.
Nadal appears to be quicker than Federer. This is another major edge for Nadal.
Nadal appears to be having a great deal of fun on the court. An athlete who is enjoying himself is apt to perform well. Federer, who is always the gentleman, appears to be a bit burdened by the pressure to surpass Pete Sampras and to maintain his number one ranking. By the way, I believe he will win several more grand slam titles titles before he retires from the game.
Federer may have been a bit unsettled after his one sided loss in the French Open. It is sometimes not easy for an athlete who strives for excellence to be resilient after a very poor performance.

Now, I am not saying that Federer will never beat Nadal again. I believe he will have some victories over his prime rival in the sport.

the power of GPS.

back from holiday, and it was awesome. I think.

Drove from Singapore all the way to Terengganu.
Which took about 15 hours. Woahh.
Went out at 5+am. And reached there at 10+pm
So what did dyania do for 15 hours? SLEEP. Duh.

And sleep I did. Loads of it. I think my hours of sleeping can cover the whole of next day.
Anyways, by the time we reached Terengganu, it’s already, dark and was raining ducks and chickens. Initially we couldn’t find our way to our resort. We went to some unknown roads and even asked the locals. But thus, we were still lost.

So my cousin-in-law, took out his N95 phone and activate GPS.
Actually he have to pay to use the GPS function in his phone, but being working at IBM, he hacked into some American Satellite thing and got GPS for free :)

So, yeah we followed.
And followed we did. The GPS led us to some very very dark, narrow road which freaks my mum out till she wanted to turn back when we’re halfway in the forested area. Whatt -_-“ we even pass-bya freaky scary looking old house that looks like the one in malay horror movies. I dare not look outside man. We were in there for about 15 minutes and finally we were out. And know what? That freaky road was actually a shortcut to our resort! How about that? ALL HAIL GPS.

Woke up at 8+ and ate breakfast. And the buffet was pathetic. But what the heck.
The swimming pool was like any other normal pool. BUT THE BEACH, breath-taking. And there’s not a single soul around. Which is like whooho! And it’s the south china sea! I donno what that means but it sounds clean. So, yeah.

The journey was long to KL; about half a day. Ate dinner at this alfresco restaurant which have a live band playing till morning. And they rock big time.

i know that it has been a week since Click Five's concert.

and DION's been bugging me to upload the pics.

but I simply HAVE NO TIME.

school's been taking much of my time. and work too.

and i've been planning to quit. since last month, actually.

but in the end, i'll feel pitiful for Ash cause there's not enough people working for her.

the others feel that way too. so, i'm now in a dilemma. shitos.

anyways, the concert was DA BEST. aside from MCR, that is.

we bought the cheaper ones of course. 64 bucks. heh heh.

the free-standing was way expensive. but you know, actually it'll be great if we bought it.

butt no regrets.

me, bro, Dion and my usual go-to-concerts kakis; Sand and Chan.

screamt like crazy idiots and jumpt like crazy monkeys.

and even though our sing-alongs wasn't all that accurate, or we can't really see KYLE!! that clearly, we had FUN.

whatever it takes.

oh no. oh no. next week BFD CA already. unit 1-5. oh no. and i have not even studied. ohhhhh no.

today, woke up late.
AFD starts at 10am. i woke up at 9.25am. and have not even iron my uniform. bestt.
rush-ed myself and concluded that there's no time to take bus. cause Mdm Siti will lock the door at 10.10am. so if i take bus, i'll be locked outside. after much thought, decided to take a cab. since i have 10 bucks in my wallet and this is an emergency, might as well use it.

flagged for a cab, and i had a flashback.

i was working, then Ash asked me to deliver a cake to Costa Sands at Pasir Ris. took a cab there. then the driver, wahhlau! drive the cab, soo fast! and his brakes was soo hard. and eventually, i had car-sick. if i didn't tahan, i think i would have vomited out my yesterday's dinner and that day's breakfast. hahah. EWW. then when i came back to work; i was feeling soo sick, i couldn't even stand-up. so rested/slept for about half an hour and felt abit better. Ash said to make myself tea to relax myself. so knowing that Chamomile tea cools and relaxes you, i made one for me. Ash got this remedy, which works wonders!

chamomile tea. one small spoon of honey. a slice of lemon. hot water.

i drank this, then after a few minutes, i'm ohh kay!

all the while i was in the cab, the uncle was talking to me about why ITE Simei got different kinds of uniforms. WTH siah? here i am late, and there the uncle can still laugh and chat with me like i'm going orchard or something. bloody hell man.

decided to skip BFD at 11pm, but heard that there's gonna be a test, soo i haddd to go. darn.

training was cancelled initially. reason? the uncle want to paint the field. huh? and the best part, it was actually drizzling. how to paint? hahaha. siow uncle.
so, decided to train ourselves. led by shasha and eirfat. played touch 6 v 6. was the best time i've ever had. even though it was very tiring. Eastpoint-ed with mates; nana, kelvin, izz & sham. ate at banquet and by 10pm, home-ed.
